About the artist
I have lived in Barnes for over 25 years. Formerly a lawyer, I began painting after taking a degree in history of art and going on to work as an art guide. I work mostly in oil, and love the unlimited possibilities that oil offers in colour and texture. I recently completed the Graduate Diploma in Portraiture at Heatherleys School of Fine Art, and, as my favourite aspect of oil painting is the medium itself, I am as happy painting still life and pets as humans, and welcome commissions.
